How nice to meet you! My name is Yoshitake, the representative of LANDCREATOR. Click here for a brief personal history.

First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest in our website and for taking the time to read this text. Thank you!

I have made this website to provide quality Japanese garden maintenance services to non-Japanese living in Japan. Finding a good garden maintenance company is a difficult task even for the same Japanese people as me. If you are from a foreign country, it will be extremely difficult. I hope I can be of some help to you.
I am learning English and can hardly speak English at the moment. I am sorry. But I would like to improve my English by having more opportunities to communicate with English speakers.
(There may be some mistakes in this website’s text and word choice. I would appreciate it if you could point out any strange points.)

Well then, Let me give you a brief introduction to my garden work.
I first started my landscaping-related career at a company that designs, constructs, and maintains the gardens of private residences, and also wholesales landscaping-related materials. There I underwent rigorous apprenticeship-style training in landscaping, which is rare today. This gave me the opportunity to learn many things related to gardens, not only about garden creation and maintenance, but also about growing plant materials, the characteristics of landscaping materials, and even the wholesale business.

Originally, I loved beautiful things and plants, and as a result, I started this job. What’s more, the obsession with beauty that has been ingrained by the harsh apprenticeship is now at the core of work. In other words, the core is that “the garden is meaningless unless it is beautiful.” It may be extreme, but that is at the root of me.

Then, “How can the garden be beautiful?”
To do so, we may first need to construct it as beautifully as possible. However, as a result of seeing many cases in which I was actually involved, or even when observing newly beautifully made and planted trees in the city, the beauty is very often only fleeting. After a few years, it will deteriorate and lose its brilliance.

The lesson from this fact is that you don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of effort and cost constructing the garden in the first place to keep it beautiful in the long run. Of course, it is important to spend a lot of initial costs if you can afford it, but what you really need to focus on is how to maintain it afterward. With proper care, the garden does not deteriorate, but rather creates a good atmosphere and adds to its appearance.

“Maintenance is the only way to complete a supreme garden.”
I think that the construction of a real garden can only be completed by maintenance.

In fact, maintenance is really essential for gardens and trees.
However, when I thought, “Why do I stick to maintenance myself?” because maintenance is much more fun for me than the garden design I’ve done so far or garden construction. Generally, Maintenance is regarded as a very mechanical and boring task but no other job in my career has given me more joy and satisfaction than maintenance work.

From a casual conversation with a customer, I realized that some people are looking for a natural atmosphere of maintenance, pruning, and finish. If so, I think I may be of service to those people with such rich hearts.

Since it is a small business, it is usually done by one person, at most two or three people, so it is not possible to finish it in a short time with a large number of people. Instead, we believe we can provide our clients with high-quality work.
If your current garden is not well maintained and you are looking for a better gardener or arborist, we would appreciate it if you could contact us. Thank you!
